Nina opened B1 Yoga in 2014 bringing a healthful blend of Hatha yoga and Yoga Therapy to the Delaware Valley.  Nina, a former marketing director, with a B.S. from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, began studying yoga in the late 1990s.  After a career in marketing then staying home raising three sons, Nina decided to dive deeper into the study of yoga philosophy.  She received her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in 2009 and began teaching at Body Tech Fitness, Jaya Healing Arts and Stone King Physical Therapy in Lambertville.  She also taught a free community yoga class weekly in St. John's parish center.

Nina discovered the world of Yoga Therapy by chance when she took a two-day intensive class with Gary Kratsow, founder of The American Viniyoga Institute, at a Yoga Journal Conference in NYC. In 2013 Nina began studying with Joseph and Lillian LaPage at Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda in Lenox, MA receiving her 500 hr-RYT and 300-hr Advanced Certification in Therapeutic Yoga.  Nina completed her 800-hr Yoga Therapist certification 2017 and is fully certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

"I recovered my spirit and my purpose through yoga and learned to self-regulate.  I found me, again.  I began living more authentically and with real purpose.  The studio was founded in love.  I teach with love.  I know all my students will recover a sense of health and happiness at B1 and find their OWN strong sense of purpose," said Nina recently.

Nina teaches all levels and all abilities.  "You are not too fat, too inflexible or too old for yoga.  There are no mirrors in my studio for a reason!  All you have to do is show up and I will help you chase away extraneous thoughts help you feel your full body presence.  I've literally got your back!"

Nina added to her Yoga Therapy practice by studying Reiki with John and Lourdes Gray at the John Harvey Gray Reiki Center for Healing in Jaffrey, NH.  She is an experienced Master Reiki Practitioner.  She is a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner as well.  Nina earned a certification in Yoga4Sobriety and offers a weekly yoga class to support recovery from all types of addiction.
"I'm so proud that B1 Yoga is known as a trauma sensitive, therapeutic studio in our area."   Nina is completing a certification in Trauma Release Exercise (TRE).  This modality is another tool to guide the body out of old, deeply held patterns clearing the way to living with greater health, clarity and peace.

Having a "chat" with Nina is a uplifting experience.  "We lose our sense of purpose when we lose sight of our path.  It can become hidden by a tangle of self-doubt and unhealthy belief patterns.  But the path IS always there.  I can help you develop an emotional machete so you can cut through the tangle and reveal your true path with honor and integrity."
Emma Warwinsky
200-hr Yoga Teacher

Growing up with parents in the theater arts world was the start of Emma's yoga journey.  She studied acting, voice and dance as a child and was first introduced to yoga by her mother.  And, though it would be years before she could sit still long enough to develop a personal practice, the seed was planted.

After being reunited with yoga in college, Emma continued to develop her personal practice, post graduate, from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL where she earned a B.A. in FIlm Production.

"Working on a film set is no walk in the park,"  Emma shared.  "Days are long and It's hard on the body.

It was a regular yoga practice that helped soothe her body after 14 hours of standing, lifting and running on a set.

"Film making is consistently chaotic," Emma said. "Yoga created a path to internal stillness that brought balance to my life."

These elements, combined with years of studying dance, became the foundation for the practice Emma leads today. Focusing on nurturing the body, flexibility and building strength, Emma's classes are a combination of Vinyasa, Hatha with a hint of Yin Yoga balancing the mind, body and spirit through holding and releasing, action and stillness.

In 2015, Emma attended The Rishikesh Yog Peeth Ashram in Rishikesh, India where she earned her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification.

Emma enjoys working with students of every level and welcomes all the lessons the body can teach.
